Destaca-se a potencialidade de autores que apostam em “desidentificações” e “políticas de localização”, relaciona-se o debate sobre políticas de identidade aos sujeitos históricos modelados pelas relações de produção as classes sociais. A intenção é indicar, de forma panorâmica, a diversidade de vetores, mesmo à esquerda, nos debates sobre políticas de identidade, ressaltando o caso dos EEUU, as formas de acessar o debate por autoras afro-latinas, frisando a importância de terras e corpos, datações, acompanhamento de processos e localizações.<br /> <br /> PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Identidade, movimentos sociais, esquerda, América Latina, políticas de identidade.<br /> </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">WORDS LOOKING FOR BODIES AND LANDS IDENTITY, IDENTIFICATION AND POLITICS</span><span style="font-weight: bold;"> OF IDENTITY - A READING FROM THE LEFT</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-style: italic;">Mary Garcia Castro</span></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">The concepts of identity, identification and politics of identity are mapped, considering contemporary marxists authors and those from cultural studies with a left oriented critics. “Localization theory” or “grounded theory” and the concept of “non identity” or “des-identification” are briefly presented, as well as references to Latinas authors.
