BETWEEN INEQUALITY AND SOCIAL EXCLUSION: a case study in greater Montevideo
Danilo Veiga

This paper analyses the relationships between social inequalities and urban segregation, based on a study in progress in Montevideo’s metropolitan area. The analysis is performed from the study of an atypical city within the Latin-American context, which has experienced an increase in social exclusion and urban segregation during the last years.
