Capitalism, in its craving to subdue nature and history, does not spare the socio-biological equilibrium and the dignity of the work force, something which is brutally verified in the projects "of development" of the Indian subcontinent. It is in this sense that the alternative political formulation of the new social movements of the Third World - above all feminine - that are against the model of "development" opposed to life and that have put in question the unpaid work of reproducing the work force, should be understood.

Publicação Online do Caderno CRH: http://www.cadernocrh.ufba.br
}, number={23}, journal={Caderno CRH}, author={Costa, Mariarosa Dalla}, year={2006}, month={set.} }
