SOLIDARY ECONOMY IN FACE OF THE CAPITALIST PRODUCTION WAY

The present literature on the solidary economy converges to assert the alternative character of new popular experiences of self-governing and economic cooperation: given the rupture they introduce in capitalistic production relations, they would represent the emergence of a new organization way at work and economic activities in general. The paper discusses the subject, returning the Marxist theory of transition and analyses, according to this view, data from recent empirical researches on solidary enterprises. Delimiting the former thesis, it concludes that we are before the germination of a new “social production form”, whose tendency is to take shelter, contradictorily, in the capitalistic production form. It finds out, at last, the political and theoretical consequences of this understanding, though it replaces in no antagonistic terms, the presence of non typical social relations, inside the capitalism.

KEY WORD: labour, cooperation, alternatives, Karl Marx, transition.
